At its  core is a pleated, glass-fiber filter cartridge with activated carbon to  improve taste and reduce chemicals. The .2-micron filter removes  bacteria and protozoan cysts from outdoor fresh water sources. The  Hiker's compact design packs away easily and pumps an impressive 1 lpm.  Compatible with most popular water bottles or hydration systems with the  EasyFill™ adapter. The generous 36" hose comes with a modular prefilter  for use in occasionally turbid water. Includes prefilter, bottle  adapter, and carry bag. Weight: 11 oz. 6.5"H x 3"W x 2.4"D.
