The  SHERPA FX.ONE CARBON Mountaineering pole is an ideal 4-Season companion  for demanding mountain tours in rough terrain! This foldable and  fixed-length pole is constructed of four robust 18 mm Carbon Fiber  uppers and a 16 mm Aluminum lower providing exceptional durability in a  lightweight design. This pole is equipped with the innovative Aergon Air  grip, which has been redesigned in terms of comfort and control and has  been improved in numerous ways. The special hollow-core technology  combines lightweight construction with large, supportive surfaces that  meet your hand's ergonomic requirements. The head of the Aergon Air grip  is fully rubberized for maximum grip and control when going downhill.  The inclined angle supports your wrist for optimal guidance and  placement. The SHERPA FX.ONE CARBON is equipped with a flex tip,  allowing the standard trekking basket to be easily swapped with the  included Big Mountain Binding Basket when you encounter snow, ice, or  muddy condition. The SHERPA FX.ONE CARBON poles collapse into three  sections just 16 inches in length, making them a cinch to stow away in  your pack when you need your hands to use ice tools, rope, or climb  rocky terrain.
